Off on Sundays

I want to lose the rest of my baby weight but it seems like there are more good restaurants than there are reasons to lose weight 🙁 LOL Seriously! I am about to just give up on crop tops and eat my life away.

Last Sunday after attending Delite Whitening’s event, I realized I needed a day for me and for my spiritual well-being. I was so tired but I toughed it out and still attended the event. I made up my mind that day that I would close the store on Sundays. I got tired of not getting any sleep the night before, jumping up to attend church, then rushing from church to the store.

I know what you are thinking… but you are closed on Mondays. Isn’t that your day to yourself? But truthfully it is not. Monday is still a business day for me. I call vendors, send e-mails, ship packages, and run personal errands to the bank, tax office, etc. So Sunday truly is a day for me.

I spent this Sunday with my baby boy. We attended church and it was nice to be able to lollygag around after service, rather than rushing off to the store. After church we went and caught a quick bite at The Grilled Cheese Gallery in Northwood. I can’t believe this was my first time trying it and I consider myself a foodie. Although it may have been my first, it surely won’t be my last. It was one of those meals you wouldn’t mind eating once a week. I had the Southern Belle Grilled Cheese (I added bacon), and I was so reluctant to share it with Masyn 🙁 I tried to feed him fries, but noooo Masyn just had to help himself to my sandwich. The food was prepared quickly, it was fresh, and it was delicious. They also had excellent customer service. The waitress checked on us frequently and we even dabbled in a friendly conversation. I can’t wait to see what next Sunday’s adventures have in store!

OUTFIT DETAILS BELOW:

I wore a denim outfit from After 5 Lux. It did not come with the leopard ribbon in the loops, I added it for extra flair! I was going back and forth between leopard print and camo print, but the final decision was made when I thought about these leopard print Steve Madden sneakers I had been eyeing since August. They literally haunted me! I first saw them in Macy’s back in August. Got back to my hotel room, I’m scrolling down Facebook, then BOOM! What do I see? The Steve Madden sneakers (which was really freaky). I am glad I waited a while before purchasing them, I got them for 30% off.
