2016 and on, is all about doing what you love. People often get trapped in jobs because the job offers security. Security is followed by complacency. Complacency is not happiness, complacency is settling. This year, find the time to do something you love.
I’ve decided to do this blog because fashion brings me sooooooo much happiness. I love fashion because it is imaginative. The individual can be as creative as the visions that parade around their mind. The texturized fabrics, the mix of patterns, and the palette of colors is art.
The blog will focus on fashion and style. One thing you will quickly learn about me is that I love mixing the ‘Luxe with the Lows’. I always pair high-end fashion with more affordable brands. In this way, my looks are totally accessible for the everyday girl.
Faux fur collars are the best accessory this season. It makes your outfit go from “blah” to “voilá”. I got this one from Forever21. Notice how rather than wearing it as a collar, I chose to drape it on my shoulder. The best part about it is that I can wear it with any other coat of my choosing.
Color block with shades of texturized brown. The silhouette baring bodycon dress, paired with a loose trench gives the look a sip of sexiness, but a gulp of class.

Closed-toe nude pumps bring the whole look together. Nude heels give the look a soft tone along with the contrasting browns.

(I know everyone likes ‘So Kates’ but in my experience ‘Pigalles’ are so much more comfortable and easy to walk in.)
