Busy Bee

I am so happy that Friday was the last day with my seniors! Juggling a bunch of wannabe adults, a fairly new store, and a baby was no easy task. What I am most excited about is having the time to take care of myself. I can start getting the proper amount of rest (physically and mentally) and I can start maintaining my hair and nails regularly.

I am also excited to spend more time with my baby boy! I feel so guilty because with my busy schedule we hardly ever get any quality time together. As soon as we wake up in the morning it’s go time! We don’t get time to roll around in the bed and play together. I am at work all day and once I leave work it’s off to the store. Even when I have Masyn at the store with me, it still is not quality time because I am servicing customers, responding to emails, calling my vendors, researching new vendors, updating the website, promoting via social media, or planning out photoshoots. Everyone says children don’t start forming memories to the age of three so I tell myself he won’t remember me working this hard to make myself feel better lol.

And I think I just might be crazy, because on top of my already hectic schedule, I just started taking an online course (which I am determined to get an A in) and I am trying to join a women’s volunteerism organization, both which will require more time that I don’t have. But like I said before, when you want something bad enough you make time and you figure out a way to make it happen.

I wore this outfit to the women’s organization’s mixer on Wednesday. I didn’t want to over-do-it but at this point in my life I am thinking I don’t know how to not over-do-it lol. I chose this look because it was fun but formal, just like me! I am very professional but I still know how to have a good time. I got so many compliments and I am sure you will too! 1. Hi!!!! It’s been a minute but I’m catching up on your posts! I am so grateful for the end of year myself. Going to real estate school. I want to volunteer this summer as well. Love the look.
